Hugo Pratt

Hugo Pratt (1927–1995) was an Italian comic book artist and writer, widely regarded as one of the most influential creators in the medium. Known for his evocative storytelling, literary depth, and distinctive black-and-white artwork, Pratt is best remembered for his iconic character Corto Maltese, a wandering sailor and antihero who explores a richly imagined world steeped in history, mythology, and adventure.
